We’ve had our machine for just over a month and are now getting the “Ventilate” error message. The book says to press the “Hot water” button (image 26 I think) but this does nothing. When we press the Menu button, it says “Energy Saving” and has a flashing asterix next to it, and under that, it says “Rinsing”. It doesn’t matter what button we press, nothing happens and we can’t fix it. This is our second gaggia machine in 3 months. What are we doing wrong?

The most common cause is a blockage somehwhere in the steam line ( the wand, the hose, or even the steam valve. )
Make sure to clean and flush your wand after EVERY use.
